Your donations and gifts are important to us. One of the simplest ways to make a donation is to designate an amount as a "Friend of the Center" or "Education and Research". Your donation is used to educate the community. It is used to raise the standards of care for dementia patients through healthcare professional education.
Another way to make a gift for UCSF Fresno Alzheimer's & Memory Center is through a Will. UCSF Fresno Alzheimer's & Memory Center can be named as a direct beneficiary of specific assets, or a portion of your estate. These bequests are not subject to State taxes and therefore offer estate tax savings. You should contact your attorney for preparation of your Will. These donations will fund the AMC Center's clinical services, research and education.
- Unrestricted Gift - "I give and bequeath (amount, proportionate share or specific property) to the Alzheimer's & Memory Center, a non profit program, serving the south Central San Joaquin Valley and Central Coast areas.
- Restricted Gift - "I give (same as above with additional clause ...) This gift to be used exclusively for (purpose - patient and family services, education, outreach, research."
- Endowment for General Purpose - "I give and bequeath (amount, proportionate share or specific property) to the Alzheimer's & Memory Center, a non-profit program, serving the south Central San Joaquin Valley and Central Coast areas. This gift is to be held in the Center's Endowment Fund and the income it earns is to be used for such purposes as the Center determines." (In an Endowment the Center maintains the principle of the gift intact and uses the interest earned on the principle.)
- Endowment for Specific Purposes - Same as general endowment with this additional clause. . . "This gift to be held in the Center's account at the Endowment Fund and the income it earns to be used for (purpose - patient and family services, education, outreach, research).
The Alzheimer's & Memory Center is a non-profit program of the University of California, San Francisco, Fresno Medical Education Program, and the primary sources of funding are grants and community donations. All funds stay in Fresno for use at the Alzheimer's & Memory Center. Your Check may be made out to:
